Supervision
I offer regular supervision sessions for counsellors and
therapists at my counselling and psychotherapy practice.
My role as supervisor is a combination of supporting, educating and managing boundaries. I have experience of both private practice and organizational work (NHS and voluntary sector).
I supervise qualified therapists with Integrative, Person-Centred and TA approaches. I am also a clinical supervisor of Integrative Psychotherapy students at CPPD school and Counselling Psychology students.
I have a Diploma in Integrative Clinical Supervision. My approach incorporates:
- relational work
- TA
- psychoanalysis
Most importantly I focus on the quality of the therapeutic relationship in the context of the supervisory relationship. Greater understanding of counter-transference brings greater depth to the work and greater potency to the therapist.
